The Importance of A Gift of Ease

Years ago, as a new doctor, our founder, Dr. G, practiced veterinary medicine with a strong awareness and treatment of pain in injured, healing, and aging patients under the guidance of a world-renowned pain management veterinarian. Upon entering the field of in-home pet euthanasia, it was noticed that many pets had not received the benefits of pain management as they aged with arthritis or other uncomfortable conditions. It's time now to add a healing component to the practice.

Recognizing that many active or aging pets face injuries not only from arthritis but also from soft-tissue damage such as tendon or ligament strains, we have expanded our healing arsenal to include dedicated therapy for those injuries. Whether your dog has torn a ligament playing, or your cat is recovering from a tendon injury, our in-home approach ensures comfort, convenience and evidence-based care.

Discovering PulseVet

In March 2024, at a continuing education veterinary conference, our founder noticed the Zomedica vendor booth. One of Zomedica's vendors introduced PulseVet, a product backed by scientific evidence. At the time, Dr. G was recovering from a two-joint surgical procedure on the left thumb. Unlike a previous surgery on the right thumb, the recovery was slow and painful, necessitating the constant use of a small compression sleeve to reduce throbbing. Upon sharing this discomfort with the vendor, it was suggested that a PulseVet treatment could be very helpful. Despite tenderness in the thumb, the treatment began a few inches away from the surgical sites. As the analgesic effect took hold, PulseVet was moved to the actual surgical sites. Within a few days, the left thumb felt significantly better, and the compression sleeve was no longer needed. The strong and lasting effects of PulseVet treatment were evident weeks later, as it effectively nudged the body to complete the healing process.
